Hotel Elephant - Bressanone

The garden's amazing views and inviting pool created a perfect retreat after exploring the area. Our dog's welcome was a good surprise, making the stay even more nice.

It offers excellent service and incredibly nice breakfasts. The staff are attentive, giving their best to make the stay a such wonderful experience. Our hotel is set in a central location so close to a pedestrian area with lots of outdoor cafes, shopping and wine bars/stores, a large walled garden, and an excellent restaurant in Bressanone called Finsterwirt which was excellent.

Silent, modern room with central heating, a private safe, and multi-channel TV. Private parking on-site provided. Everything good.

A few things you should know

The atmospheric interiors and lush garden create a serene experience. The restaurant features an excellent wine collection.

One might find the lack of air conditioning a challenge during the warmer months. The Wi-Fi connection can be frustratingly slow, rather disappointing for today's tech-savvy traveler.

This is a pleasant, comfortable hotel with a pretty garden, lots of atmosphere and a good restaurant. The price was however a bit high and the breakfast was so-so (Italian style rather than Austrian style, though the town is more Austrian than Italian).

the restaurant here was excellent with amazing wine list, we both ordered quality dishes. there was exceptionally comfortable bed, truly outstanding staff from reception to porter.

Can’t fault anything about it!

The room provided was spacious and elegantly decorated. The location was excellent, just a few steps from the city center, which allowed easy access to various business venues. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a variety of fresh baked goods and high-quality organic juices that helped kickstart my day.

No air conditioning and weak shower pressure.

Beautiful, historic hotel in picturesque Tyrolian town. The place as a rich past, and the staff is charming and helpful.Guests feel transported to another more gracious Europe. The garden across the way is full with art, trees and relaxation. The restaurant serves haute cuisine.

Only one small criticism: The beds are too hard! This, however, should not deter the traveller seeking a truly unique, charming and gentile time.

I really think that air conditioning is necessary even at this altitude. My stay during July was slightly marred by the uncomfortable temperature in our Junior suite and very humid temperature in the restaurant during our a la carte meal.

We loved exploring the unique show in the courtyard and attended the International Mountain Summit, fantastic. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread was delicious. Don't miss out on the Michelin-starred tasting dinner. It's a highlight.

One downside was the room's comfort. The mattress was rather thin and not very inviting, which affected our sleep quality.

This Hotel offers beautiful antiques, oil paintings, sculptures, and is a pleasure to visit the various salons and offers a peaceful garden and pool to enjoy. Excellent staff and within easy walking distance to Old Towne and central bus statio Hotel will give you bus pass. Rooms are spacious, no wifi, with a terrace. Wod would stay here again

the room was not well insulated, .. you could hear any movement and word of the neighbous.the water pipes etc. this is not adequte for the price.

The hotel was great with its charming historic decor and a lovely garden. The breakfast was a highlight, with fresh pastries and high-quality organic juices.
